Mitigation Techniques of Power Frequency Magnetic Fields originated from Electric Power Systems

For several reasons -mainly related to possible effects on human health- it can be necessary to mitigate magnetic fields produced by electrical power installations. This TB presents a compilation of techniques employed to achieve this operation. It comprises fundamentals, methods, design procedures and -in some cases- cost assessment. Examples highlighting the use of these techniques are also included.
