Detection and Pattern Recognition for Partial Discharge in Power Cable
Deterioration of XLPE cable may be caused due to manufacturing process, site constructing, termite harm, and long time in service. This study focuses on the 25kV XLPE cables, experiments including corona, cut and scraped wound, punched wound and pinholes left on cables skin are performed in high voltage laboratory. Then the partial discharge is measured and recorded.
