Guide for minimizing the damage from stator winding grounds on turbogenerators
Stator earth faults are the most common anomaly in generators. The damage to the stator core depends on the ground-ing system. In this guide the effects of a stator phase to earthfault, analyzing stator winding grounding systems are reviewed,and calculation criteria of stator winding grounding is proposed,in order to reduce damages.
